Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Astral CCTV's services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our CCTV installation and maintenance services.

Service Description

Astral CCTV provides the following services:

  • CCTV System Installation: Residential and commercial CCTV camera installation
  • Alarm System Installation: AJAX alarm systems and security solutions
  • Maintenance Services: System maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
  • Technical Support: Remote and on-site technical assistance

Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your requirements
  • Ensure safe access to installation areas during scheduled appointments
  • Make payment in accordance with agreed payment terms
  • Follow maintenance and usage guidelines provided by our technicians
  • Notify us immediately of any issues or concerns with installed systems

Installation Process

1. Site Survey

We conduct a thorough site survey to assess your security needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

2. Quotation

Based on the survey, we provide a detailed quotation including equipment, installation, and any additional costs.

3. Installation

Installation is carried out by certified technicians following industry best practices and safety standards.

4. Testing & Handover

All systems are thoroughly tested and demonstrated to ensure proper functionality before handover.

Payment Terms

  • Deposit: A 25% deposit is required upon acceptance of our quotation
  • Progress Payments: Additional payments may be required for large projects
  • Final Payment: Remaining balance is due upon completion and handover
  • Late Payments: Late payments may incur additional charges

We accept payment by bank transfer, card payment, and cash. All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.

Warranty and Guarantees

Equipment Warranty

All equipment comes with manufacturer warranties as standard. UNV cameras typically include 3-year warranties, and AJAX alarm systems include 2-year warranties.

Installation Guarantee

We provide a 12-month guarantee on all installation work. This covers any issues related to our installation practices.

Workmanship Guarantee

Our workmanship is guaranteed for the duration of the equipment warranty period.

Warranty claims must be reported within the warranty period. We will assess and repair or replace defective equipment at no additional cost.

Cancellation Policy

  • 24+ Hours Notice: No cancellation fee if cancelled 24 hours or more before scheduled appointment
  • Less than 24 Hours: 50% of appointment fee may be charged
  • No Show: Full appointment fee may be charged
  • Project Cancellation: Cancellation of ongoing projects may incur charges for work completed and materials ordered

Limitation of Liability

Astral CCTV's liability is limited to:

  • The cost of repairing or replacing defective equipment
  • The cost of rectifying installation defects
  • Direct damages up to the total amount paid for our services

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business interruption.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters and severe weather conditions
  • Government actions, regulations, or restrictions
  • Supply chain disruptions or equipment shortages
  • Industrial disputes or labor shortages

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.
